Art College Entrance Examinationhas long been regarded as a shortcut to getting into college in China, and led to the birth of the Art Exam Training” industry. Guo Jiang runs an art exam training school in Henan and sees himself as both an educator and a businessman. This film is a record of his dealings with his students, clients, collaborators and competitors.

Director's Profile
Born in Henan, Guo Shuang received a directing degree from the Communication University of China. Before making independent films, he worked at the China Central Television.

Director's Note
To some extent, I am the beneficiary of the art test, which has changed my life. The college entrance examination is a battle of life and death. By contrast, the promise of changing the destiny through the art test is a much gentler journey. In order to enter their first-choice university, many ordinary children who have achieved ordinary results turned their attention to the art test. The art test has already been commercialized , and some of my friends have joined the gold rush. Guo Jiang is one of them. Why did the beneficiaries of the art test like Guo Jiang finally return to the small county? Can art exams really change our destiny? It captures the children and the teacher. It also mirrors myself.
